BLIND COMMUNITY
The Blind Community Thrift Store provides the blind and visually impaired with adaptive technology. This equipment is extremely costly for those individuals and all our proceeds help to cover that cost for those in need.
Working together with TAVIM (technology Association for Visually Impaired Missourians) We are helping with not only providing adaptive technology, but also helping to train people to use those items to the best of their ability. For more information about TAVIM visit them online with the button below.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
A big way that we help support the community is to provide a place for volunteers to work the hours needed. Some of our volunteers need hours to receive their government assistance, and some need them for a court ordered reason. These volunteers help keep our costs down while providing a much needed space for those individuals to achieve their hours.
